Dr. Josias Jean-Pierre: Turning Trials Into Triumphs and Purpose Into Global Impact

Dr. Josias Jean-Pierre’s story isn’t one of easy wins — it’s one of unstoppable faith, resilience, and vision. Diagnosed with epilepsy as a baby and placed in special education classes, he was told he’d never have a voice that mattered. But he believed differently. What started as a bold vision 18 years ago has grown into an international movement, transforming lives through his books, motivational speaking, and unwavering message of purpose.

Congratulations! Please tell us about your recent 40 Under 40 honor along with being honored at the Authors Ball Awards. What did these achievements represent and what did they mean to you at this point of your career?

Dr. Josias: The 40 under 40 was such a shock and also an honor at the same time. I genuinely love doing what I do and to think of the impact that led me to be one of the 40 under 40 honorees is all God. This achievement means there are people who are impacted by my work and therefore, continue on to keep planting seeds because someone is connected to my yes.

When it comes to the Author Ball Awards, to be at this event and just hearing different people tell me how they are impacted by my work in different regions is also a wow God factor. When I started this work it was because of a vision that was captured 18 years ago and to know 18 years later, the seeds are making national and international impact is like, wow!

The honors don’t stop there, also the Industry Impact Award is an award based in the UK. How iconic is that? What can you share with us about it?

Dr. Josias: When I got notice of the Industry Impact Award, I scratched my head. I was speechless. When you put God in the driver seat of the vision, he will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask for or even imagine. I saw international and here we are having an international impact. I have received the Nelson Mandela Award out of the UK, the 2025 Champion Award out of the UK, nominated for an honorary doctorate out of the UK, and now nominated for this award was like another God factor. I was shooketh to even know that my impact has that much impact. That one sent me nominations for more things in the UK.

Any other milestones as of late you can inform our readers about?

Dr. Josias: I was nominated for the Kingdom Image Awards.

You’re a true example of success, impact, and empowerment. For anyone who aspires to be a leader, speaker, author, what would be the best piece of advice you can give?

Dr. Josias: The best piece of advice I can give is you have to see it before you see it. This work is not easy and there are a whole bunch of things that happen behind the scenes that many don’t see. When you talk about leading, ask yourself, in what area can I be effective with my gift that God gave me? As a speaker, ask yourself, what message do I have to convey that can help others? The most impactful stories are the stories of the scars you had to face in life.

Without a test there won’t be a testimony, without a mess there won’t be a message. If you want to write a book, don’t write the book to say you’re an author, but write the book with thoughts of what do I want to convey to readers? What is my niche in place that will drive readers to do something after the book is written? I am a non fiction self help author therefore, when it comes to the books that I am writing, I focus on my niche of why I am writing this book.
