Recently, J Money’s name has resurfaced thanks to the viral resurgence of Yung LA’s 2008 hit Ain’t I. The song’s remix, featuring T.I. and Young Dro, includes the now-trending lyric, “Don’t I be with J Money, serving everybody?” TikTok users have latched onto the phrase, sparking a wave of videos mimicking Yung LA’s animated delivery while flexing money spreads—just like he did.
The TikTok trend has set the tone for a major revival of Yung LA’s career, bringing a much-needed blast from the past.
